BriefMe ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our service at briefme-2.polsia.app.

We collect the following types of information when you use BriefMe:

• Job posting URLs you submit for analysis
• Resume content you upload or paste (PDF text extracted for processing)
• LinkedIn profile URLs you optionally provide
• Email address if you provide it during checkout or opt-in flows
• Payment information processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers
• Usage data including page views, funnel steps, and error events (collected via server-side analytics)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate your personalized interview brief using AI analysis
• To process your payment and deliver your report
• To send transactional emails (report delivery, receipts)
• To improve our AI models and product quality (anonymized, aggregated)
• To detect fraud and enforce rate limits

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Stripe — Payment processing. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• OpenAI / AI Processing — Job and resume content is sent to AI APIs for analysis. We do not share personally identifiable information beyond what is needed to generate your report.
• Render — Cloud hosting provider that runs our application infrastructure.
• Neon — Database hosting for report storage and user submissions.

4. Data Retention

Report data and submission content are retained for up to 90 days to allow report retrieval. After that, it is deleted from our systems. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We only share data with service providers listed above who help us operate the service, under appropriate data processing agreements.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use minimal server-side analytics and may set session cookies for authentication purposes. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or behavioral tracking pixels.

7. Your Rights

8. Children's Privacy

BriefMe is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
